THIS YEARS CARNIVAL. Monday next will see the students in ga-yer mood than is their custom

when within academic walls. In trie morning a motley crowd will move off in procession to Cathedral Square, where speeches will be delivered by • their Majesties, " and other notables • from "Warner's balcony. This ceremony ! will take place about ten o'clock. All the latest events of interest will be depicted. One of the star items will be r bicycle race from High Street to the I Square and a scries of movie tests for i aspirants to the screen will be carried | out while the procession is en route. I In the evening : Cheerio" 1 will be presented at the Theatre Royal. Ft is claimed that this is one of the students’ best efforts- three acts of a ju- • dicious mixture of humorous dialogue. catchy choruses and dancing.
