/ The New Zealand office of "United Artists lias just received official confirmation of the interesting news that Rudolph Valentino has signed an agreement on a long term contract with that organisation, for the future distribution of his pictures. The first picture is already under way, and is titled ‘‘ The Hooded Falcon,” being a colourful Moorish drama equal in magnitude to “The Four Horsemen,” in which Valentino first became prominent. * * TThc two latest Griffith productions, ‘•Love and Sacrifice” and “Isn’t Life "Wonderful,” have reached New Zealand. and tv ill be released almost immediately, and now word lias reached the New Zealand office that Mr Griffith is on location with his company producing ” Poppy,” to be released by Idited Artists this year. “ Poppy ” is a stage play that is in its seventh month on Broadway, and stars W. O. Field, one of America's foremost comedians.
