TRANSFERS REFUSED. “ TOO MUCH LAND OCCUPIED.” Fy Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Sou ter'a Telegrams (Received May 2, 9 a.m.) LONDON, May 1. A meeting of the Anglo-French War Graves Committee discussed the transfer of the land titles of seventy-live British cemeteries in Franco which the communal authorities are refusing on the ground that overmuch land is occupied. They contend that the cemeteries should be concentrated. The French members agreed to do their utmost to induce the communes to accede.
