WEDDINGS.

M ETC AL F— C: A R S O X. A wedding took place recently at the Durham Street Methodist Church, when Mary, youngest daughter of Mr R. Carson, Ballymena, Ireland, was married to Christopher, fifth son of Mrs P. M. Metcalf, St Albans. The Rev \V. A. Hay officiated, and Mr E. Firih presided at the organ, the service being fully choral. The bride, Avho was given away by her brother, wore an attractive frock of grey tricoline, prettily embroidered. She wore a hat of the same shade relieved with touches of blue, and carried a shower bouquet of white roses and chrysanthemums. The bridesmaid. Miss Agnes Metcalf, sister of the bridegroom, wore a smart costume of French grey gabardine, heavily braided. Tier bouquet was of pink and mauve flowers and maidenhair fern. The duties of best man were carried out by Mr A. Alexander. As the happy couple left the church Miss Rhoda Scott, niece of the bridegroom, presented the bride with a lucky horseshoe.
