FROCESSIOP'I ON MONDAY. The annual capping carnival of Canterbury College will open on Monday, a week earlier than usual, with the students’ procession. This year the stuI dents arc attempting to make clean ! humour the keynote of the whole function, and all the latest personalities and . events of note will be seen. The route | for this year’s procession has been j slightly changed. It will proceed from the college down Worcester Street, and then along Montreal Street, to Cashel Street ; thence over the bridge to Colombo Street, and Warner’s Hotel balcony, where the speeches will be made. The other main attraction of the carnival. the Revue, will open at the Thej atre Royal in the evening, and the capj ping cercmor.v will be held in the colt lege hall on Friday. May 15.
