Oh, reader, as you taste our Christmas fare And as your thoughts are turned to Christmas cheer, The Editor thus greets you from his chair—- “ A Merry Christmas and a Glad New Year/ Reporters, too, who for your profit steer Their copy-hunting way though street and hall Present their compliments—good readers, dear, The “Star” sends Christmas Greetings to you all.
