With regard to the cases of infantile paralysis in Wellington. Dr T. F. Telford. Medical Officer of Health for Canterbury, stated yesterday that there were no signs of an outbreak of the disease in Christchurch. Infantile paralysis generally ocurred in the summer time, but in an epidemic the first cases usually made their appearance about August, the outbreak reaching its maximum in the summer time. Of course, there was nothing to show that a few cases would not occur in Christchurch this summer.
