FERRY SERVICE.
DAYLIGHT TRIPS. I he L nion Company announce that in order to relieve the pressure on the accommodation of the ferry- steamcis leaving Lyttelton for Wellington during Christmas Week they have, decided to institute da flight trips. The Wahine will sail from Lyttelton on the arrival of the 7.43 a.in. train on December 23 and 2 4 and the Maori will sail from Wellington at £.13 a.m. on these dates. This is an opportunity for passengers to avail themselves of a daylight trip, which is more in the nature of an cxcu rsion. The Wahine will leave Lvttelton about 8.30 a.m.. and she is expected to arrive, at Wellington at about. 4 p.m.
