Robilliard. ot Ashburton, and a sister of Alan RobilliarcJ, the All Black, thar. her win in the final of the Otago Lawn Tenuis Association’s junior champioxiship last year was not a matter of luck, for she-’ has repeated the performance this year, decisively defeatingtha same; finalist who opposed her before. Miss Robilliard has also been well to the fore iu the general athletic activities of her school. Besides performing with much success in jumping, running and swimming events," she estab. lished a school record for the long plunge, her distance being 40ft. This is an exceedingly good plunge for a girl, and i& stated to be only about two feet shorter than the Ashburton High School’s record tor boy’s plunge. In connection with Aliss Robilliard’s tennis career, it may be mentioned that this is only her second season at "the game.
