Three or four months ago, a high derrick ,a massive pile driver and a formidable re-inforced concrete steel shod pile were hauled into positiop on the River Bank, opposite the Magistrate’s Court. Employment was found for several men for many weeks in a fruitless effort to drive the pile into position at the end of the modern building which serves the purpose ,f the Government Deeds Department. Notwithstanding that the attempt had been abandoned for several weeks, no effort has heen made to Hear a wav the gear which looks very unsightly on the picturesque tav\;u.
