WEDDING. WATSON- BATES. A pretty and interesting wedding was celebrated at St Andrew's Church this morning, when Norah Kathleen, second daughter of the Rex J. J. Bates, Sheffield, was married to Percy Collinson Watson, son of Air and Airs Watson, Bald ut ha. The Rev ,J. J. Bates, father of the bride, officiated at the ceremony, and Airs Ye re Livingstone presided at the organ. The bride, who was given away by her unde. Mr David Bates, wore a most attractive gown of ivory satin gabardine, with an exquisite lace overdress. Her hand embroidered veil, arranged from a Russian coronet of orange blossoms and silver leaves, fell in graceful folds to the hem of her gown and she carried a bouquet of white hothouse dowers, with touches of pink. Miss Marie Bates attended her sister as bridesmaid and wore a. becoming frock of pal apple green silk taffetas. with pipigns of lemon, and .1 lemon and green hat to match. She carried a bouquet of mauve, doners. Mr Clifford Bates, brother of the bride, was the best man. Following the ceremony a reception was held, when one hundred and twenty guests were entertaind at. the Tea Kiosk in the Gardens. The guests were received by Airs Collett, who wore a smart black costume, a black hat and a marabout wrap. She was assisted hv Airs Kennedy, wearing an attractive frock of black crepe marocain, with trimmings of gold and blue lace, and a becoming black hat. Mrs David Bates, aunt of the bride, wore a. black tailored garbicord cos--1 ome. and a Mack hat with flower trimmings. Miss Isobelle Bates, aunt of the bride, wore a navy blue costume. a black hot with an upturned brim trimmed with French flowersAfiss Lulu Bates, sister of the bride. «oro a pretty frock of mole grey *eorembroidered in scarlet and hat *n suite. Mrs Watson, mother of the bridegroom, wore a handsome frock of black satin, and black liat with white ospreys. Miss Watson sister of the bridegroom, grey jersey silk frock with panels of blistered marocain and a grey hat to match. When Mr and Mrs Watson left for their wedding tour the hride wore a mole gabardine frork, appliquel in blue and pink, and a biscuit seorgette hut.
