Pp/r Press Association. DUNEDIN, September 29. There were some remarkable features about the life of Patrick M’Cartby, an old mau who died suddenly in Carrill Street. Though living under conditions of filth and squalor, he was a man of considerable estate, being the owner of seventeen houses in the city, while the police found secreted in all parts of the building notes of a total value of over £LUUt>.
