Mr and Mrs Sydney Neate, of St Albans, Christchurch, are spending a few days’ holiday with Mrs Flood, Hataitai, Wellington. Mr Stronach Paterson, president of the Canterbury Chamber of Commerce, will be leaving Christchurch in about a month s time, and is resigning the presidency of the chamber. Mr Paterson will remain in New Zealand for a month or two, but will then go to Europe, where it is possible that he will be absent from New Zealand for a year or two.
