THE BRIDGE OF REMEMBRANCE.
UNDER SCAFFOLDING TAKEN OUT. The work of withdrawing the piles from the under scaffolding of the Bridge of Remembrance was gone on with tins morning. A wire cable was attached to each pile, and a winch and engine pulled them out. The piles were lifted into a boat as soon as they floated clear. The work should be completed to-day.
