DEFIANT BANKRUPT.
CREDITORS DISSATISFIED. Per Press Association'. ELLINGTON, September 20. The creditors of George Swanson, a meat dealer, were not at all satisfied when his affairs came before the Official Assignee. That official himself complained that bankrupt had treated him with contempt, and alluded to his language over the telephone. In reply to questions, Swanson admitted that he frequently attended the races, and had received £l2O from ono double. The creditors said they bad got none of it. and the Assignee said the bankrupt bad to account for £llOO in eigh teen months. Go felt very much inclined to refer the case, to the public prosecutor, but would give the bankrupt a week to prepare a statement, which he had so far failed to do.
