Holland attended a (meeting of Justices of the Peace.” It was quite an informal gathering,” he stated today. “We discussed various topics of interest to justices, and particularly the calling of a conference of justices throughout the Dominion.” A number of the pamphlets issued for publicity purposes by the Canterbury Progress League were received this morning by the Canterbury Education Board. Mr W. H. Winsor suggested that every member of the board should send one or two to friends overseas. In that way they would assist the work of the league. Several members intimated that they had already done this.
