FALL OF METEOR.
Per Press Association. BLENHEIM, July 15. A meteor of extraordinary brilliance was observed in the direction of Wither Hills at about five minutes to eight last night. Those who witnessed the flight of the fiery ball wjth streaming tail, declare that it was a wonderful spectacle: although the- night -was moonlight, the meteor lit up the hills as it descended. The meteor travelled from east to west and seemed to reach the earth among the foothills behind, and to the east of, Redwoodtown.
