NEED FOR OBSERVATORY.
Per Press Association. DUNEDIN. May 10. Mr J. C. Begg. secretary of the astronomical branch of The Otago Institute. stated this morning that it would he a disaster if the failure of the Auckland tests should be taker, as supporting the argument not to establish an observatory in a suitable place in New Zealand. Otago might consider taking action independently of Yale. '
