SINGLES CHAMPIONSHIP.
YESTERDAY’S GAMES. Tlie second day of the singles championship in the Dominion of New Zealand Rowling Association’s eleventh annual tournament was notable for splendid play by W. Carswell, the well known Taieri Club player, who won all his games. The players left :n the championship at the conclusion of yesterday’s games W. Carswell (Taieri) two lives. T. Edwards (Temukal one. life C. Amtman (Caledonian, Dunedin) one life. W. Bremner (West End, Auckland), one life. W. Fielding (Hataitai) one life. C. A. Ingram (Wellington) one life.
The father of the Beckenham Club is taking part in the pairs championship to-day.
