Mr H. V. Schrejber, Messrs Hawlev and Co.’s engineer, inspected parts of the Waimakariri River yesterday with Mr E. Hitchcock, director of the City Council’s Electricity Department. They returned to Christchurch late last night. Mr Schreiber will spend a few days in Christchurch before leaving for Wellington on hia way back to America. CRICKET.
