Yesterday the members attending the twenty-fourth annual conference of the New Zealand Master. Bakers’ and Pastrycooks’ Association, which is at present sitting in Christchurch, took a day off from business, a picnic being held at Ashley Gorge. Visiting delegates and their wives were the guests of the Canterbury Master Bakers’ Association. The weather was rather hoc, but still the picnic was a most successful one. and everybody appeared to enjoy the opting to the full.
