TAIHAPE MURDER.
PLEA OF NOT GUILTY. MOGHAN IN COURT. (Special to the “ Star.”) WANGANUI, January 11. Anthony Moghan was charged at the Court to-day with the murder of Gordon John Gemmell at Taihape on January 2. Moghan. a powerfully built. greyhaired, middle aged man, appeared to feel his position keenly, but, when asked if he objected to a remand, he said firmly, “ I am not guilty. I reserve my defence.” He was remanded to appear at Taihape on January 18.
