An exciting episode provided entertainment for the habitues of Cathedra! Square shortly before ten o'clock last, night. A horse attached to a trap, which had been left temporarily unattended in front of the Strand Picture Theatre, took exception to the. unmusical efforts of a motor siren, and veering round set off in a headlong gallop across the Square. The animal had a clear run all the wa v to the Beresford corner, and negotiated thar distance unimpeded. Just as it was about to turn into Colombo Street, however, a young man jumped on to the trap. At first he occupied a very precarious position, but with a little difficulty he soon managed to get the horse under control. He showed grearresource, and the onlookers passed very complimentary remarks on his coolness m an emergency fraught with grave danger.
