Mr and Mrs L. E. Finch came back to Timaru on Tuesday after a few weeks’ holiday in Temuka. Yesterday afternoon Mrs G. Bowron. president of the Christchurch Branch of the Y.W.CA., entertained the delegates to the New Zealand Field Conference at her home on Cashmere Hills. About fifty guests were present, among them being: Lady Luke (president of the Fied Committee), Mcsdames Pearson (Wellington), Sutherland-Ross (Dunedin), Evans. W. White, A. H. Turnbull.
