GARDEN FETE.
The feto in aid of funds for the Church of England Hospital was held yesterday afternoon in tho grounds of College House. The stalls, which were all well stocked with enticing, articles, did a brisk trad© during the afternoon, and looked most inviting with their background of natural greenery. Airs Georg© Gould in opening tho fete spoke of the capable manner in which all tho arrangements had been made, and wished all the' stallholders every success in their venture. Airs Gould wore a handsome frock of black marocain and georgette, the side panels leaded/ ed in silver, f and a shady black hat with feather trimpiings. Tho stallholders were : Variety Stall—Airs Whatman. Children’s Stall—Alisses Phoney and W akefield. Doll ‘Stall—Alesdames A. and J. Esl iek. Calsonian Emporium—Airs Calson, Airs J. Evans and St Margaret’s Girls. Christmas Tree—Alisses Alay Alorton and Joyce Jamieson. Flower Stall—Airs Hiatt and Alisses Tennant, Alary Hiatt, Cynthia Fjsher, Betty Pritchard and Helliwell. N • Hat Stall—Airs Wilford, Alisses Elliot and Phyllis Ovrcr. Toy Stall —Alesdames Gectrge Baker and T. IT. Williams Christmas Pudding and Sweets—Alesdames J. E. Fleming, G. H. Congreve ‘ and Miss G.
