WEDDING.
RUSSELL - -AYTNGHAAI. At Holy Trinity Church, Avonside, the wedding was celebrated of Biera. youngest daughter of the late Air and Mrs F. IT. AYingham, of Timaru, and AVilliam Baxter, second son of Air and Airs C. B. Russell, of AYorcester Street. The bride, who was given away by her brother-in-law, Air AY. L. Henderson, wore a charming frock of ivory brocade satin. Victorian style, with tight fitting bodice and long full skirt caught in at the wa.st with posies of mountain haze primroses, and finished off at the back v ith a dainty silver tissue sash forming a train. A long trailing soft veil caught in at the sides with sprays of orange blossom, and a bouquet of cream and ivory roses and maiden hair fern with streamers of silver ribbon completed the bridal toilet. Aliss Alice Russell, sister of the bridegroom, attended the bride and wore a dainty frock of lavender marocain shot with silver, with side drapings of silver lace, and shoes to match with a becoming hat of lavender shade finished with a long streamer of silver lace. She carried a bouquet of sweet peas and streamers to match her frock. Th Rev O. Fitzgerald was the officiating clergyman, and the bridegroom was attended by Air J. B. Batchelor as best man. After the ceremony a reception was held at Ball an true’s. Airs AY. 1,. Henderson being the hostess. Airs Henderson wore a brown taffetas frock with champagne trimmings and brown hat to match. The biidegroom’s mother was gowned in black jersev silk with panels heavily embroidered in white with black trimmed with white ospreys. AATien Air and Airs AY. B. Russel! left for the wedding trip the bride wore a lrock of sunset shot taffetas with an overdress of soft clinging mole shade lace with shoes and hat to match. Among those present were: Rev O.
