WEST COASTERS.

MEETING OF ASSOCIATION. The adjourned annual meeting of the West Coasters’ Association was held last night. The president (Mr J. Alartin) occupied the chair, and there was a lair gathering of members. The report and balance-sheet for the past year were received and hearty votes of thanks were accorded the retiring officers. The report of the association’s organiser, Air Mahan, was also received. from which it was gathered that the association anticipated a successful year. The Westland committee of the Canterbury Progress League forwarded an invitation to the president to the celebration luncheon in the Town Hall. Hokitika, on December 17 The following officers were elected for the ensuing year:—Patron. Air R. C. Bishop; vice-patrons, tho West Coast members of the House and the Alayors of th© boroughs of Hokitika. Greymouth and Reefton ; president. Afr J. F. Wilson . vice- presidents.
