Elsie Pavue, aged thirteen, of Cardiff, was sent on an errand during the afternoon. She staggered into her aunt’s shop with her throat cut, exclaiming “Oh! Aunt.” She could only explain that a man had asked her the way to Clifton
Street. She collapsed and died in hospital. The police are detaining a man with a cut. arm who declares that lie witnessed the attack on the girl and endeavour ed tocatelithcrmirderer.
