ELLESMERE CLUB. The Ellesmere Athletic Club will hold its annual snorts at Leeston on Anniversary Day. Excellent entries have been received for all eyeliner and running events, while for several field events post entries will be received. It is expected that, there will be a record entry for Highland dancing. Many prominent cycle riders havo entered, and several will take part in the road race, Christchurch to Leeston, in the morning, starting .from the Hospital Corner nt S o’clock.
