The final programme of the season in I connection with the Male Voice Choir is announced to take place in the j Choral Hall on Thursday and Saturday of next week. An interesting feature ! of the programme is the fact that every i item to be presented has been selected ! by vote by the subscribers themselves, and a glance at the advertisement ap- ■ pearing in to-day’s amusement columns !of the “ Star ” will reveal with j what excellent taste the numj here to be sung have been , chosen. Assisting the artists are Mrs . Vere Livingstone (solo pianist and accompanist •, Miss Olga Wacked . (mezzo soprano 1 . Mr F C. Penfold ? (baritone), and the Christchurch Lyric i Four (Messrs Morgan, Blakeley, More | and Johnston). Dr J. C- Bradshaw I will conduct as usual, while the boys of ‘ the Cathedral Choir will also assist.
