THE TRANSFORMER STATION.
NOTICE OF OBJECTION.
It is the intention of Mr R. B. Owen to serve a notice on the City Council on Monday objecting to the decision of the council to erect a transformer station on the river bank alongside the existing wooden shed. If necessary Mr Owen intends to apply for an injunction against the council. He will also give the council formal notice to clear off the wooden shed by March 31, 1924. Mr Owen states that it is intended to inquire into the legality of all'buildings and obstructions on the river banks, and where they are illegal, action will be taken to have them removed.
