The Ellesmere Licensing Committee yesterday granted permission to J. F. M’Cormack (who was also granted a. transfer of a. licenFe of the Leeston Hotel from G. Mitchell) to carry on business in temporary premises pending the rebuilding of the hotel, which was destroyed by fire on Sunday. It was pointed out that if the rebuilding were not completed within six months, extension of the permit could not be granted. It was stated. for the licensee, that the intention was to erect the new building either of ferroconcrete or brick.
