The certificates tor riders who competed in the recent Tiruaru-Christ-church road race have, come to hand, but- at an executive meeting of the North Canterbury centre is was decided that betore they are issued each rider who finished must sign a declaration that he completed the course under the rules and conditions contained in the official programme. The declarations are being posted to competitors now. and the distribution of certificates will be made on receipt by the centre of the signed declaration. A Cycling Club has been formed at Prebbleton. and will commence holding road races almost immediately. This popular sport is spreading fast. The Little River Cycling Club is now in running order, and held its first, road race on Fridav last, with twelve starters. Another "race will be held on Friday night next.

The English Park track has been in constant use every night this week, and at times as many as thirty riders have been on at once.
