YEARLING SALE.

GOOD PRICES GENERAL. Messrs Pyne, Gould. Guinness, Ltd., held their annual sale of yearlings in the Chester Street stables this morning. lor a time bidding was slow, but as tlie sale progressed it became much more spirited. The liigheHt price of the sale was given for a bay colt by Martian—Polymma. which fetched 1-300 guineas. The colts and fillies sired b.v the imported horse PaperMoney all sold well. the average price being 500 guineas There was also a good demand for animals sired by other well known .horses The following are the lots that were Qu account of Mr J.
