THE CHARM OF A WOMAN’S HAND.
I saw recently in the “ Daily Mail ” a most interesting article on the charm of women’s hands. The author went so far as to say. “No woman can be plain if she has beautiful hands.” • In these days most girls spend too much time on beautifying their faces, and not enough in attending to tlieii hands. White, delicate fingers have an extraordinary fascination. Do you realise how much your hands are in evidence iu the ordinary course of a day? Pouring out tea, playing cards, sewing, writing, playing the pianoall draw attention to the hands. In these days so many of us da our own housework that our hands, become coarse and reddened. There, i.s. however, no excuse for letting them We all know tho wonderful effect of pure mercoiised wax on the face; have you ever thought of applying the same principle to the bands? The nightly application of mercoiised wax to the hands and arms will remove the red, dirt-ingrained outer skin by gentle absorption, and keep them soft, smooth, and white. The consciousness of ugly baud* makes a woman gaucli. awkward, and shv. White, well-kept hands arc. still the hpi 1-mark of a lady.
