’WARE THE MOSQUITO.

TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —During the last few days I and my family have suffered considerably, from the stings of mosquitoes. I aui not a bit surprised. On walking through the Rawhiti Doi main on Sunday last I observed a large pool of stagnant water literally swarm- ! ing with these pests. The smell was most offensive. If this state of affairs is allowed to : continue the people of New Brighton can look out for an unpleasant time this summer. As this concerns the health of the residents, the Borough j Council should take immediate action in the matter. —I am, etc., PRO BONO PUBLICO. J New Brighton. November 2.
