WHEN YOUR EYES ARE TIRED.
Sometimes the eyes look dull and heavy and fine little lines form arouna them. When this happens, the following treatment will be found even more effective than massage. Bathe the eyes for several minutes with warm water, to which a good pinch of borne ic acid has been added. Dry lightly, then soak an old silk handkerchief in very hot water, which has in it a few drops of can tie cologne, and, folding it as a bandage, place it across the eves, which should he kept lightly closed all the time the bandage i< in position. . As soon 'as it cools the
bandage should be wrung out again irv hot water and applied to the eves one* more. After removing it the second time ?pong° the ores and surrounding skir. with very cold water, dip the tip of the third finger in a lotion made of eau de cologne, mixed with an equal qonntit\ of elder flo>rer water, and very lightly tap the skin all round the eyes.
