The I nited States Government is considering a plan for exporting fiftv million bushels of wheat to Germany to assist in meeting the crisis which” is threatening widespread suffering. The plan is favourably regarded by President Coolidg© and is linked with the reparations offer. The cost of the grain for expo.ct will be met by a two year loan from the "War Finance Corporation. Details of the proposal will be submitted to the Secretary for Agriculture by a committee of leading grain men who see the method of assisting the American farmer and preventing famine in Germany at the same time.
