At Dayton, Ohio, a Barling bomber, the world’s largest aeroplane, established an international weight-carry-ing, altitude, and endurance record. Equipped with six motors, the machine remained in the air one hour nineteen minutes eleven seconds at an altitude of 15.000 feet, carrying nineteen bombs weighing 0092 pounds.
