It is amazing what perseverance ano intelligence will do when it cornea to (writes Harriett© Underhill, the “ New York Tribune ” movie critic). We are thinking of Marion Davies and con trusting her work in her latest picture. “Little Old New York.” with that in “Cinema Murder,” “ The Dark Star” and sonic of the other early atrocities Of course, in her previous picture. “ When Knighthood Was in Flower.’ she did excellent work, but the part was much more showy and far less cliffi cult than the present one. where "Miss Davies plays Pat O’Dav. and for purposes of fortune makes believe she is a boy.
