MOVIE STAR PORTRAITS.
The “ Star,” having been appointed the official moving picture paper for New Zealand, has for distribution a number of photographs of the different actors and actresses appearing in moving pictures. Readers of the “Star’s” movie columns can, therefore, obtain at a cost of threepence each the photographs of their favourite stars. This trifling sum does not nearly cover tho cost of production of the portraits. The names of the stars will appear in hatches, and the first batch is as follows: 1. Beatrice Joy. 2. Jack Holt. 3. llorolph Valentino. By forwarding three penny stamp® in an envelope addressed to the moving picture editor of the “Star,” readers will have forwarded to them a photograph of any of the above actors or actresses they desire. Further batches of the names of the stars will appear later.
