Both pleaded guilty. The senior-sergeant stated that this practice was becoming all too common and only recently there had been a serious accident, the victim of which was still in hospital. Mr H. Y. Widdowson, S.M., read tho two lads a lecture upon the danger thev ran and said to impress this upon them as much as he could he would fine them 5s and costs Bs.
