BALL AT ART GALLERY.
The Art Gallery was the scene of much gaietv last evening when Mr and Airs G. L. Donaldson, Holmwood Road, Fendaiton. gave a ball to their many friends. The ballroom was gaily decorated with primrose and white streamers and baskets of flowers w-ero suspended from the ceiling, while the plainness of the walls were relieved by hangings of the same shade as the steamers. The supper room was bright I with large bowls ot‘ tulips and ranun- ! culi, and the tables were decorated J with brilliant shades of the same flowi ers. The small room used as a lounge was made festive with immense bunches of lilac and vases of beautiful cream roses. The music was sup- : plied by Willyams s Jazz Band. Airs j Donaldson wore a becoming gow n of I black satin with long beaded overdress
