The Christchurch Centre competitions matches will begin on Saturday, and at a meeting of the Centre Match Commitlee it. was resolved to request all clubs to appoint umpires and instruct, them to strictly enforce all rules, especially in regard to stamped bowls and foot on Ihe mat.
