The .Separatists were expel led from Aix J.a CUapelle by trade unionists after a severe handling and tile flag of the Rhenish Republic was hauled down and burned iu the street, while the people sang patriotic songs. The Belgians remained neutral. The crowd stormed the town hall in Munchengladbach and expelled the Separatists who had taken refuge in a restaurant. The Separatists fired on the crowd and wounded several. Thereupon, the police disarmed the Separatists, who disappeared. The Belgians here were also neutral. Cologne reports that the British zone 13 quiet and is not affected by the Separatist movement.
