Advices from Luxor state that- Mr Howard Carter’s gangs of men and boys have resumed preliminary operations preparatory to continuing the exploratory work at Tutankhamen's tomb. The first real work will he the removal of seventeen hundred tons of earth which was heaped above the tomb. It is expected that the explorers will be in a position to re-enter the tomb about November 2.
