A LENGTHY PICTURE.

NORMA TALMADGE’S LATEST, A brilliant audience witnessed the world's premiere of “ Ashes of Vengeance,” Norma To.lmadge's new; First National picture, on Monday evening, August 6, at the Apollo Theatre. New York. The picture was scheduled for an indefinite pre release run at the Apollo, and was presented by Jos. M. Schenck. It was nine months in the making, under the direction of Frank Lloyd, and is Miss Talniadge’s most spectaular and elaborate production,, having a cast of sixty screen celebrities, and more than five thousand supernumeraries. Some of the prominent players in tho oast. urn: Conway Tearle, Courtney Foote, "Wallace Beery, Betty Francisco, Josephine Cowell, Alary M’Allister and Jeanne Carpenter. The super production was presented in tlic presence of practically all the celebrities of the screen and stage in Now York, prominent film executives and representatives of the New York newspapers, trade, press and fan literary magazines. “Ashes of Vengeance” is Miss Tal madge’s first, full length feature in ten reels. It will supply the entire even mg’s entertainment, with no comedy film or news to fill out the programme, and according to advance reports »s one of the greatest attractions that have yet graced the silversheet.
