NEED CAREFUL KEEPING. Complexion powder should never be allowed to remain in a bathroom where steam can penetrate to it and cause it to become damp, for damp powder is ruinous to the skin. Only put a small quantity of powder into your bowl at a time, for not only does the powder lose its scent if it is exposed to the air, but there is always a chance of its becoming damp. TO RETAIN FRESHNESS. Face creams should always be bought in small jars, as creams are very liable to lose their freshness if kept tor any length of time. Powder puffs, when in general use, should be washed every week or ten days. Boracic acid powder used for bathing the eyes should be stored in a glassstoppered bottle. Complexion, hair and other lotions, which are not used daily, should be kept carefully corked and made airtight by tying a cap of chamois leather over the cork.
