FIRE AT NEW BRIGHTON.
HOUSE SLIGHTLY DAMAGED At 11.30 a.m. to-dav a fire broke out at the residence of Mr A. K. Hurtshorn e, 79. Be res ford Street. New Brighton. The motor fire engine was on the scene within two minutes of the alarm being given, and succeeded in extinguishing the fire by-means of the chemical appliances. The house consisted of six rooms, and the damage was confined io one room, which was sub-let to Mrs Mary Fimiertv. The house was insured in the 1.6. A. for £750. The fire was the second that has occurred in New Brighton this week, the previous outbreak having occurred on Monday nigln.
