Mr C. P. Greenfield, of the Eastern Extension Cable Company’s staff, Wellington. is spending a few weeks in Christchurch. Miss Mavis Dupree, pupil of Miss V. Large, gained highest marks with honours in the preparatory division of the Christchurch centre of the recent Trinity College examinations. His Honor Mr .Justice Adams, who has recovered from his indisposition, will conduct the Supreme Court sittings in Christchurch. from November 1 They probably will continue until close to Christmas.
